My life started to form a shape and I'm still unsure what that shape is but it has texture and depth and meaning now and it's become really exciting to navigate.
Twice now, Zion National Park has stolen my heart. I often get asked to tell of the natural beauty of my home, as if pristine landscapes are exclusive to New Zealand. And New Zealand IS beautiful, one of the most beautiful countries I've visited to be sure, but there is so much beauty to be seen in the States that I am always surprised to hear that people think they'll only find such things abroad. Zion is one of those places that takes your breath away, and it's accessible to anyone.
Georgina (or Geo as I've always called her) has been a good friend and complete inspiration to me for some years now. We grew up together in New Zealand but our friendship took some time to blossom due to the fact that we were one year apart in school which, as you'll probably relate, feels like a lifetime when you're a kid.
The day that I got to marry Dillon Perillo was one of the best days of my life. We'd rushed into the planning of the wedding and gave ourselves three weeks to pull it together, so when I reached out to my friends across the globe to see if they could come, I didn't expect to be greeted with much enthusiasm. How wrong was I.
